  • MDP Delegate Selection Workshop

    4:00 PM-4:45 PM

    The Maine Dems will hold an informational session on being a part of Maine's Democratic Party Delegation to the state convention in Bangor May 31-June1 and the national convention in Chicagor August Aug. 19-22! This training will cover both state and national delegate roles and what the responsibilities for each include. Sign up here.

    6:00 PM-7:30 PM

    Are you a Democrat running for local office? Or even thinking about running for local office? Check out this free, live, online training on how to run a winning local campaign! This training covers important topics like: direct voter contact, signs, mail, and letters to letters-to-the-editor. Any Democrat can sign up!

    Please be sure to sign up at least an hour before the training begins to ensure that you receive the Zoom meeting info on time.

    Notes: Currently we plan to meet on the 4th Thursday each month except for August (no meeting but plan to attend the Lobster Bake), November (watch for a date change), and December (usually a party is planned instead of a meeting!). Most months will be hybrid. 

    Lincoln County Democrats and other Maine progressive voters or interested seasonal residents are welcome!

  • Frances Perkins Award Celebration

    The biennial Frances Perkins Award Celebration honors a Democrat who, over an extended period of time in their personal and professional lives in Lincoln County, exemplifies Frances Perkins’s commitment to community service and dedication to Democratic ideals of fairness and equity.


    This year, we present this award to Chris Hall of Bristol, a Lincoln County Democrat who, like the award's namesake, has demonstrated outstanding commitment and service to our community.
