22 Aug 2019 Annual Harvest Dinner to Celebrate Maine’s Autumn Bounty

WHITEFIELD, ME, August 22, 2019 – The harvest season is just around the corner and the Lincoln County Democratic Committee (LCDC) is inviting the public to share in its bounty as they present their Annual Harvest Dinner on Sunday, Oct. 6 at 5 p.m. The event will be hosted in the agricultural heart of Lincoln County at the historic Kings Mills Union Hall, 901 Townhouse Rd. in Whitefield.
The meal will showcase locally sourced hearty stews, chowders, bread, cider, and homemade desserts, with an emphasis on apple and pumpkin pies. Interest in our wholesome local harvest dinners in Lincoln County has grown each year, and for good reason,” said Valarie Johnson. “Each one is a celebration of what local farmers produce, the best recipes of our volunteer cooks, and great company in historic community gathering places. What could be better?”
Attendees may pay at the door or reserve a space through the secure portal at http://lincolncountydemocrats.com/harvest. Admission is a $20 donation per person over the age of 10. All ages are welcome. For attendees who would like to offer additional support for the event and LCDC efforts, there is an opportunity to be a member of the host committee for $50 which includes one admission fee and recognition at the event.
