Keepin' it Blue in Lincoln County!

Post Election Sign Retrieval

After election day, we need volunteers to take to the roads of Lincoln County and retrieve yard signs along the public rights-of-way. There are many roads in the county, and if each of us pulls signs from roadside placement in our neighborhoods, the task of collection will be greatly lessened. Many of the signs can be recycled or repurposed or reused.

Please bring in your signs and any others you gather to the campaign office in Newcastle during our final office hours on Tue, Nov 12 & Wed, Nov  13: 10 AM-2 PM & Thu, Nov 14: 3-7 PM (before our meeting). Signs can be left in the lobby if the office is closed (stacked neatly against the wall by the stairs). The last day to return signs is Sat, Nov 16.

  • Democratic State Convention

    Friday, 1 May | 12:00 AM - 11:59 PM
Thompsons Point, Portland, ME 04102, USA

The Democratic State Convention is the single largest gathering of Democrats anywhere in the state of Maine. The Maine Democratic Party (MDP) is looking forward to welcoming delegates, alternates, guests, federal and state-level elected officials, and Democratic candidates to organize, network, and build momentum for Democratic victories in 2026.

The convention gives Democrats the opportunity to hear from Maine Democratic Party leadership, Democratic candidates, and grassroots leaders; meet fellow passionate Democrats from across the state; and participate in activist workshops. Only Convention delegates speak on the floor and vote, but the event is open to the public and we encourage you to attend!

Delegates elect their County’s representatives to the Democratic State Committee, the governing body of MDP. They also debate and vote on amendments to the Maine Democratic Party Platform (our core values) and Charter (the rules that govern our internal Party matters).

A detailed schedule, delegate information, and a registration form will be available  here: https://www.mainedems.org/caucus-convention
