The LCDC is hosting their biannual Rally for Democracy: A Get Out The Vote Party on Saturday, Oct. 19, from 3-6 p.m. outside at the Wells-Hussey American Legion Post #42 in Damariscotta. LCDC will hold its next meeting on Thursday, Oct. 24. Our focus will be on our Get Out the Vote (GOTV) efforts as we gear up for the final push of the election season. We’ll hear from many of our local county candidates, and it will be an exciting time to mobilize and energize for the weeks ahead. Let’s make this a great night—together, we can make a difference in our community! The meeting begins at 7 p.m. and will be in a hybrid format.
