Outreach Team Community Education Event

The recent tragedy in Lewiston has spurred increasing concern among Maine residents on the issue of gun safety in our state. In response, the LCDC Outreach Team will be holding an informational session on this issue.

Presentations by gun safety experts from Maine Gun Safety Coalition/Show Up Maine, Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America, and Maine Providers for Gun Safety will be followed by opportunities to speak with the presenters and gather relevant materials. A number of our Lincoln County state legislators, Sheriff Todd Brackett and Jeanne Christie, District Representative for Congresswoman Chellie Pingree will also be attending.

A social time with refreshments will begin at 6 PM followed by the session at 6:30 PM. Please note that overflow parking is available at the CLC YMCA. Enter to the right of the Legion Hall.
