25 Nov 2024 ICYMI November 14 Meeting | Election Recap with Maine Public’s Kevin Miller
We hosted a 2024 record crowd of more than 100 (in person and online) at our final meeting for 2024 which featured an election recap with Kevin Miller, State House correspondent, Maine Public.
A copy of his slides are here and the video is below. Note that portions of this video have been edited so that participants could speak freely during the Q&A and to remove any LCDC business that should not be made public.
In addition to voting in 24 new members, the agenda also included recognition for Tessa Schneider’s fantastic work as the Maine Democratic Party’s field organizer for Lincoln County. More recognition is planned for a to-be-announced potluck event in January. Kelli also shared that this was her last meeting as chair and is looking forward to a rest and then to working with new leaders to be elected at our January 23 hybrid meeting. More to follow on the nomination process.
