ICYMI Video of the February 17 Meeting | 2022 Campaign Kickoff

The Lincoln County Democratic Committee (LCDC) held its monthly meeting on February 17, 2022, via Zoom. During our 2022 Campaign Kickoff, we met many of our candidates, explained the changes to the house districts, and talked about how our campaign volunteers can support candidates and work with the LCDC Campaign Team to keep Lincoln County blue!

Not shown on the video was the following tribute by our Campaign Leader Kelli Whitlock Burton:

“As you know, we recently lost our dear friend, Betsy Wooster. Betsy loved campaigns and she would have loved this one. She would have figured out what needed to be done, invited folks to help, and then she’d get to work. I’m really going to miss Betsy this year, but we can think of no better way to honor Betsy than by dedicating this year’s campaign to her and by everyone here tonight pledging to approach this campaign just as she would have: Head on and together. So, I’d like to ask everyone to unmute yourselves, raise a glass and join me in a toast: “For Betsy.” “

Note: Portions of the video have been edited so that participants could speak freely and to remove any LCDC business that should not be made public.

The next meeting will take place on March 17.
