Are you a skilled organizer who wants to help elect Democrats in Lincoln County? Come work for us! LCDC is hiring a full-time campaign manager to help run the campaign office and our campaign.

Job description: Lincoln County Democratic Committee (LCDC) is seeking a self-motivated individual with strong communication and organizational skills to oversee the operations of our 2024 political campaign. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with organizing experience and effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Experience with political campaigns preferred and knowledge of Mailchimp, WordPress, the Google Suite environment and Facebook/Instagram is a plus.

The Campaign Manager will report to the LCDC Chairperson or designee. This is a contract position for 30-40 hours per week, with some evening and weekend work and 2 days guaranteed off per week. Because the campaign office is staffed almost entirely by volunteers, the manager can work remotely 1-2 days a week for much of the summer, although most work will be in-office beginning in September. The contract runs from early June through the end of November and the pay is $25 an hour.

Responsibilities include: managing the LCDC Campaign Office; organizing volunteers; coordinating with candidates and representatives from the Maine Dems and House and Senate Dem Campaign Committees; and coordinating campaign communications. We have a large volunteer base so much of the day-to-day is run by volunteers who are overseen by the campaign manager.
