When & Where to Place Them

Campaign signs may be placed on private property any time and for any length of time. That means, get some (or make some) and put them up now!

Note that signs may only be placed in public rights-of-way starting on Tuesday, September 24, for the November 5 election date. The office staff will give you more detail.

Maine regulations stipulate that signs may only be placed in public rights-of-way for a total of six weeks from July 1 through December 31. Please don’t risk the signs being confiscated by placing them on public land before September 24!

Do you live in a high-traffic area in Lincoln County? If so, we’d love to place one of the large, hand-painted candidate signs created by our volunteers in your yard! We have signs for Harris/Walz and all of our legislative candidates. We will notify you in late September when they are ready for display and you can pick them up or we can deliver them to you. We will collect the signs after Nov. 5. If you’d like to host a sign, please fill out this form.

How to Get Them

The 2024 Lincoln County Dems campaign headquarters is located at 27 River Road in Newcastle (across from The Lincoln Home). Hours: Mon-Fri: 9 AM-5 PM & Sat: 10 AM-2 PM. Contact us to confirm hours or with questions: 207-563-6634 or campaign@lincolncountydemocrats.com.
