Waldoboro Dems to Host Candidates Sunday, May 7

WALDOBORO, MAINE, April 24, 2023 – On Sunday, May 7, from Noon to 2 p.m. the Waldoboro Democratic Committee will host a Meet and Greet the Candidates event for the Tuesday, June 13 election at Perch Café & Bakery, 12 Friendship Rd., Waldoboro. The café will be open for attendees to purchase food and beverage.

Attendees will meet Wendy Pieh of Bremen, candidate for State House District 45, and Emily Trask-Eaton, candidate for re-election to the RSU 40 Board of Directors for Waldoboro.

House District 45 consists of Bremen, Friendship, Loud’s Island, Waldoboro, and Washington.

Pieh will accept $5 Clean Elections contributions during the event from any registered voter in House District 45. Voters may also support her campaign online by following the donate link at https://www.wendypieh.com.

Democrats and unenrolled progressives from Waldoboro as well as from any of the other towns in House District 45 are welcome to attend.

The committee urges everyone to vote on June 13. Absentee ballots may now be requested.
