  • Celebrate and Launch! Chloe Maxmin's Campaign Kickoff Party

    On June 12, Chloe's campaign made history by winning the House District 88 Primary with 80% of the vote, breaking record turnout by over 40%. Now, we’re launching our General Election campaign as we head towards November 6th.

  • Egghead Evening: Climate Change

    Egghead Evenings are open discussion groups on policy-related or historical topics. They take place on various Monday evenings throughout the summer at the Campaign Office.
     
    Katherine Jacobs, Director of the Center for Climate Adaptation Science and Solutions at the University of Arizona, will lead a discussion, "Climate Change Impacts Assessment and Policy - Where we are Gaining and Losing."

    From 2010 – 2013, Kathy served as an Assistant Director in the Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP) in the Executive Office of President Obama. Kathy was the director of the National Climate Assessment, leading a team of 300 authors and more than a thousand contributors who wrote the Third NCA report. She also was the lead advisor on water science and policy, and climate adaptation, within OSTP.

    Kathy is a summer resident of Southport Island.

During the heaviest part of campaign season, the office will be open extended hours, seven days a week.

    The Boothbay Region Democratic Committees (Boothbay, Boothbay Harbor, Edgecomb, & Southport) invite you to a fun, social gathering to meet candidates for local and statewide offices at the upstairs historic bar room of The Opera House at Boothbay Harbor.

    Confirmed guests include: Holly Stover for State Representative (Boothbay, Boothbay Harbor, Edgecomb, South Bristol (Part), Southport, Westport Island), Laura Fortman for State Senate (Lincoln County minus Dresden plus Washington and Windsor), Natasha Irving for District Attorney (Knox, Lincoln, Sagadahoc and Waldo Counties), and Lincoln County Sheriff Todd Brackett.
