Connecting for Change Campaign Job Openings and Paid Internships

We are excited to implement a new model for our 2020 LCDC campaign, Connecting for Change. We will make an effort to personally connect with every non-active Democrat, D-leaning Independent, and even sympathetic Republican—as well as all unregistered, voter-age citizens—in Lincoln County.

To help us do that, we are assembling a field team made up of a field director (HIRED!) and three field organizer interns. These four will create and assess progress toward data-driven goals, knock on doors, make phone calls, and hold and attend events throughout the county. They will work with a large cadre of LCDC volunteers to reach everyone in the target groups.

We will also maintain a vibrant campaign headquarters that will serve as a gathering place, information resource, and event venue. We plan to hire a part-time office manager (HIRED!) who will make sure that the headquarters supports the needs of the campaign.

Please review the three job descriptions below and share then with family and friends.

As you might guess, this plan requires enough funds to pay for the Field Team interns. If you have the financial capacity and would like to earmark a contribution to pay for an intern’s stipend, that would be fantastic. Please contact Geoff Bates, fundraising chair, if this interests you. If we receive more than enough funds, we may be able to hire additional interns.
