I am excited to announce my candidacy for the Maine State Senate!
I live in Newcastle with Susan, my wife, and our three sons, Luke, Austin and Joseph. I grew up in Maine and have lived in Newcastle for over twenty years. This campaign and the leadership I would bring to the Maine State Senate is at this critical time the best way to give back to this amazing community. It would be an honor to represent District 13 in the Maine Senate and have the opportunity to use my skills and experience to address the issues affecting our community and state.
A few of these pressing issues are the affordability and accessibility of healthcare, educational opportunities for all, protection of Maine’s natural resources from the damaging effects of climate change. We must also address the disease of addiction which is taking our loved ones from us in staggering numbers.
My skills and experience come from my education at schools in the University of Maine System, 24 years of practicing law, and leadership in many nonprofit and professional organizations such as the Maine State Bar Association, Damariscotta Region Chamber of Commerce, University of Maine at Farmington Board of Visitors, and as a Newcastle Selectmen.
