REDUCE | REPAIR | REWEAR | RECYCLE
Based on Deer Isle, Maureen Farr’s Mozelle Fine Jewelry has evolved and morphed from found object jewelry to creating pieces of silver, colorful enamels on copper, and repurposed steel (including two styles of Kamala earrings!). You may preorder to pick up at the rally by choosing that option in checkout!
From her studio in Bath, Kharris B creates assemblage art. “Old photos, recipe cards and letters, discarded old books, camera lenses beyond repair, retired clocks and tools… there are treasures everywhere if you are looking for them…” Contact her to request specific pieces be brought to the rally for in-person viewing.
Kate and Nick Bergmann create children’s clothing made in the USA from durable, soft organic cotton at Peace House Studio in Bath. When items are worn or outgrown, they can be returned to the Patches Project for store credit. Play, patch, repeat. “We believe that clothes belong on people, not in landfills.”
Upcycled, hand-painted and well-loved fashion, accessories and art are uniquely created by Callie Rhodin through her imaginative selkie silhouettes brand based in Portland. “art comes from a part of you that is entirely magic.”
Made in Jefferson, Blue Earth Bags repurposes and recycles feed sacks, coffee bean sacks, and other gently used material into durable everyday use bags and totes. “We want folks to think twice before throwing away material that can be reused.”
U.S. Congresswoman Chellie Pingree (D1-Maine) and Maine Secretary of State Shenna Bellows will attend and make remarks.
