Includes all towns in Lincoln County except Dresden, plus Windsor in Kennebec County and Washington in Knox County

Cameron Reny, a life-long resident of Bristol, is a first-time candidate for SD13 to replace outgoing Senator Chloe Maxmin. Cameron is a certified school counselor, educator, community advocate, union member, and leader of professional associations. She has worked at local, school, district, and statewide levels to solve problems, support equitable policies, and advocate for children and families. She is dedicated to equity in education, universal access to healthcare services, environmental conservation, and economic development. Cameron, who lives in Bristol with her husband and sons, is an alumna of the EMERGE America candidate boot camp which prepares Democratic women for public office. She has been endorsed by a number of organizations, including EMILY’s List; Maine AFL-CIO; Sierra Club; Planned Parenthood Maine Action Fund, Maine Conservation Voters, and the Maine Service Employees Association, SEIU Local 1989. Reny is running against Republican Abden Simmons of Waldoboro.
