11 Jan 2024 Your Vote, Our Democracy: Lincoln County Dems Caucus 2024
Democrats all across Maine will gather for our biennial caucuses February 3-4 to begin organizing for the 2024 elections! These biennial caucuses are grassroots organizing at its best. We’ll meet our Democratic candidates and help them qualify for the 2024 ballot, visit with other Dems in our towns and get started on plans for this critical election year.
In Lincoln County, we’re gathering in seven locations, coming together to hear from candidates, elect delegates for the Maine Democratic State Convention (in Bangor May 31-June1), elect local committee leaders and election clerks, reconnect, collect items for our Food Pantry Project (paper towels, toilet paper, coffee and tea, hot/cold cereal and canned soups) and have fun!
You’ll have a chance to sign forms to help Democratic candidates qualify for the 2024 ballot and make your $5 Clean Elections qualifying contribution to help eligible candidates qualify for campaign funds.
You can run to represent your town at the 2024 Maine Democratic State Convention in May in Bangor or put your name in the hat to be an election clerk in your town. We’ll also elect officers for our local Democratic committees and conduct other local committee business.

February 3rd or 4th, between 10 AM and 6 PM. Be sure to arrive on time to check in and find a seat to hear the candidates speak! Find information for your town’s caucus above and be sure to follow the signup link to help us plan and to get more information!
Who may participate?
Any registered Democrat can participate in their town’s caucus, provided they are registered in that town.

– Presidential electors
– Democratic State Committee members (by County)
– 2 DNC (Democratic National Committee) Members
– Maine Democratic Party Platform and Charter

No. This is the beauty of having the caucus before the primary, it makes life easier.
Can we bring items to donate to LCDC’s Food Pantry Project?
YES! We’ll collect paper towels, toilet paper, coffee and tea, hot/cold cereal and canned soups at our caucus locations.
